You can use the Bulk Product Editor to mass update products in your store. This tool allows you to edit multiple product properties, including name, SKU, price, stock, shipping settings, as well as product variations.

To access the Bulk Product Editor:

  1. In the side panel of the editor, click eCommerce and then click Manage Store.
  2. Click Catalog to see the Products page.
  3. You can instantly enable, disable, or delete selected products as well as assign or remove categories in bulk on this page.
  4. Click Bulk Update, and then click Edit All. Alternatively, select the products you want to update, click Bulk Update, and then click Edit Selected.

You can edit the following product properties using Bulk Product Editor:

  • Name

  • SKU

  • Availability

  • Price

  • “Compare at” price

  • Stock

  • Product quantity when the low stock notification is sent

  • Whether the product requires shipping or pickup

  • Weight

  • Dimensions (length, width, and height)

Note

You can update up to 100 products at a time using the Bulk Product Editor.

Edit Product Properties

Once you select products for editing and proceed to the Bulk Product Editor page, a table displays the products (as well as their variations). Products are table rows, and product properties are table columns.

Select the properties you want to edit in the Columns menu on the left to add the corresponding columns to the table and deselect the ones you do not need to make the table easier to manage. You can deselect all the columns except for the Name column.

To edit a property for a particular product/product variation:

  1. Click on the cell of this property in the row of the product/product variation.
  2. Make the necessary changes.
  3. Click Save.
The products that you have edited will be marked by a dot until you save the changes.
Note

You can change the properties that are not yet available in the Bulk Product Editor when you edit products one by one on their product detail pages. Click CatalogProducts, and then click Edit Product.

Tips and Shortcuts

You can edit the cells that have a white background in the table. Cells with a gray background are not available for editing.

Click the column name to sort products based on this property.

By default, the Columns menu is expanded, but you can always collapse it by clicking the Columns button to have more space to edit your products.

To navigate the table, you can either click on the cell that you need with a cursor or use your keyboard:

  • Press Tab to select a cell and switch into keyboard navigation mode.

  • Use arrow keys (→, ←, ↑ or ↓) to move to the next/previous cell in the row/column (available after pressing Tab).

  • Press Enter to enter changes into the cell and move to the next cell in the column. You can also press Enter to start editing the selected cell.

  • Press Esc to discard the ongoing changes in the cell.

Instantly Update Product Accessibility

You can quickly enable, disable, or delete selected products without entering the Bulk Product Editor. For example, if you want to temporarily hide a seasonable category or you stop selling some product line forever and need to delete the items.

To instantly update selected products:

  1. In the side panel of the editor, click eCommerce and then click Manage Store.
  2. Click Catalog to see the Products page.
  3. Select all products you want to edit, and click Bulk Update.
  4. In the drop-down menu, select Enable or Disable or Delete Selected. If you selected Delete Selected, click Yes.

The changes save automatically.

Assign and Remove Categories in Bulk

You can instantly assign and remove categories in bulk for selected products. For example, if you want to create a new system of categories in your store.

Note

You need to create at least one category in your store (on top of the default Store front page category) before it becomes possible to assign or remove categories.

To assign or remove categories in bulk:

  1. In the side panel of the editor, click eCommerce and then click Manage Store.
  2. Click Catalog to see the Products page.
  3. Select all products you want to edit, click Bulk Update, and then click Assign or Remove Categories.
  4. Select or deselect categories in the list.
  5. Click Apply.

The changes save automatically. The categories are assigned to or removed from all the selected products.
