Google Domains CNAME and A Records

CNAME Record

To update your CNAME Record on Google:

  1. Sign in to Google Domains.
  2. Select the name of your domain.
  3. At the top left, click Menu and then DNS.
  4. At the top of the page, confirm that the Google Domains tab is set to "Google Domains (Active)." If the Custom tab is set to "Custom (Active)," you use custom name servers and must configure resource records with your name server provider.
  5. Under Resource records, click Customrecords and then Manage custom records.
  6. In the gray boxed area, add the following information for your CNAME Record:
    • TypeCNAME
    • Hostwww
    • Points tos.multiscreensite.com
  7. Click Save.

A Records

To update your A Records on Google:

  1. Sign in to Google Domains.
  2. Select the name of your domain.
  3. At the top left, click Menu and then DNS.
  4. At the top of the page, confirm that the Google Domains tab is set to "Google Domains (Active)." If the Custom tab is set to "Custom (Active)," you use custom name servers and must configure resource records with your name server provider.
  5. Under Resource records, click Customrecords and then Managecustomrecords.
  6. Delete your existing A records. To delete an entire record, click Delete.
  7. In the gray boxed area, add field values for the first A record:
    • Host/Alias@

    • Target/Destination35.172.94.1

  8. Click Create New Record and add the second A record:
    • Host/Alias@

    • Target/Destination100.24.208.97

  9. Click Save.
