Network Solutions CNAME and A Records

CNAME Record

To update your CNAME Record on Network Solutions:

  1. Log into the Account Manager.
  2. Select Domains on the left side of the page.
  3. Select the domain name you want to change.
  4. On the domain page, go down to Advanced Tools.
  5. Click Manage next to Advanced DNS Records.
  6. In the Host Aliases (CNAME Records) section, click the Edit CNAME Records.
  7. Add a CNAME record with the following details:
    • Hostwww
    • Values.multiscreensite.com
  8. Click Continue.
  9. A confirmation page appears that verifies your records were updated. Review the information carefully, and then click Save Changes.

A Records

To update your A Records on Network Solutions:

  1. Log into the Account Manager.
  2. Select Domains on the left side of the page.
  3. Select the domain name you want to change.
  4. On the domain page, go down to Advanced Tools.
  5. Click Manage next to Advanced DNS Records.
  6. In the IP Address (A Records) section, click Edit A Records.
  7. Select the box next to each A Record you need to delete, then click Save Changes on the Confirm DNS Changes page.
  8. To add the new Host and Numeric IP addresses, enter the following information:
    • First A Record:

      • Host/Alias: @

      • Target/Destination: 35.172.94.1

    • Second A Record:

      • Host/Alias: @

      • Target/Destination: 100.24.208.97

  9. If needed, modify the TTL settings, and then click Continue. The TTL default is 7200.
  10. A confirmation page appears that verifies your records were updated. Review the information carefully, and then click Save Changes.
