NameCheap CNAME and A Records

CNAME Record

To update your CNAME Record on NameCheap:

  1. Sign into your Namecheap account.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Domain List and click the Manage button next to your domain.
  3. At the top of the page, click Advanced DNS.
  4. Find the Host records section.
  5. Delete any existing A Records from the list by clicking the delete icon next to the A Record.
  6. Click Add New Record.
  7. Select CNAME for Type and enter the following details:
    • Hostwww
    • Values.multiscreensite.com
  8. Click the Save Changes green icon.

A Records

To update your A Records on NameCheap:

  1. Sign into your Namecheap account.
  2. In the left sidebar, select Domain List and click the Manage button next to your domain.
  3. At the top of the page, click Advanced DNS.
  4. Find the Host records section.
  5. Delete any existing A Records from the list by clicking the delete icon next to the A Record.
  6. Click Add New Record.
  7. Select A Record for Type and enter the following details:
    • Host@
    • Value35.172.94.1
  8. Repeat the above steps to add an additional A Record with the following details:
    • Host@
    • Value100.24.208.97
  9. Click the Save Changes green icon.
