Bluehost CNAME and A Records

CNAME Record

To update your CNAME Record on Bluehost:

  1. Log into your Bluehost Hosting Account.
  2. Click the Domains tab from the side navigation menu, then select the Zone Editor option.
  3. Select the domain you're modifying from the drop-down box.
  4. Scroll down to the heading named Add DNS Record.
  5. In the Host Record field, enter www.
  6. Leave the TTL field at it's default setting
  7. Select CNAME, from the drop-down labeled Type.
  8. In the Points To field, enter s.multiscreensite.com.
  9. Click Add Record to create the record.

A Records

To update your A Records on Bluehost:

  1. Log in to your Bluehost control panel.
  2. Click the Domains tab from the side navigation menu to the left.
  3. Next to the domain name you wish to update, click the ▼ icon next to Manage, then choose DNS from the drop-down menu that appears.
  4. Delete any existing A Records. Under DNS Manager, scroll down and find the record you want to modify.
  5. From the right side of the record, click the ⋮ (ellipses) icon, then click Remove from the menu that pops up.
  6. Scroll down to locate the A Records, and click the Add Record button. Enter the following details:
    • Host Record@
    • Points to35.172.94.1
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repeat step 6 to add an additional A Record with the following details:
    • Host Record@
    • Points to100.24.208.97
  9. Click Save.
