What are 'Key Citations' in Citation Tracker and how are they gathered?

Modified on Mon, 17 Apr, 2023 at 12:46 AM

Key Citations are the most valuable citation sites and data aggregators — they are the most important sites to be listed on.

We gather Key Citations by determining which sites have the biggest online presence and high Domain Authority. A number of different factors are considered, in order to calculate what is classed as a Key Citation, but we primarily focus on the number of pages indexed by search engines like Google.

We provide a different list of 'Key Citations' for each country, as this differs.

Citation Tracker currently covers the following 10 countries:

  • The US
  • The UK
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Ireland
  • Philippines
  • Macau
  • Taiwan
  • Hong Kong
